You need Time permission to export time clocks and Payroll permission to view pay rates. If you don't have access to this module, ask someone at your company with Manager's permission to update your user permissions.
-
You will need to have set up your Staff Roles, and your Staff Members and enabled Pay Adjustment Packages in Loaded.
-
Before you export to iPayroll you'll want to review your Time Clocks, read the Exporting timeclock from Loaded article, and ensure you have followed the setup steps in Exporting timesheets to iPayroll.
To import your Loaded timeclocks with Pay Adjustments you need to ensure iPayroll is setup correctly.
You will need to add a new Pay Element
- From your iPayroll home page click on Set Up> Pay Elements
- Add a new Special Payment by clicking +Add
- Enter Basic Details
- Option 1: New Zealand Public Holidays
- Payment Code - this is always PHW1
- Description - call it whatever you like, we'd recommend something like 'Public Holiday Worked Adjustment'
- Multiplier - leave this as the default 1.00
- Calculation Rule - Select "Pay Rate" from Person
- Rate amount - Leave as the default 0.000
- Priority - is always 99
- Option 2: Custom Adjustments
- Payment Code - this should match the Custom Pay Code set in Loaded
- Description - this should match the Custom Pay Type set in Loaded
- Multiplier - leave this as the default 1.00
- Calculation Rule - Select "Pay Rate" from Person
- Rate amount - Leave as the default 0.000
- Priority - is always 99
Note: You are not able to export a custom pay adjustment with Parental Leave Without Pay (PLWOP) as the adjustments pay code.
4. Under Costing Details leave all settings as the default
5. Payment Type - Earnings Types
- Option 1: for New Zealand Public Holidays select Overtime
- Option 2: for Custom Adjustments, select the relevant Earnings Type
6. Click Save
Once this has been set up you can follow the Export to iPayroll steps, from there the Loaded generated payroll export will import correctly into iPayroll with any relevant pay adjustments.
