How to navigate the fraud & discounting report

You'll need Reports permission to view this page. If you don't have access to this module, ask someone with Managers permission to update your user permissions.
Your data importer will need to be running and connected to the internet on your server computer in order for information to show in this report.

To access head to Reports and Fraud & Discounting.

This report lets you see the discounts & voids that are being used at your site, and the reasons the the staff are entering for these on your POS.

Overview

The discounts graph displays discount values across the day, broken down into half hour periods, you can hover over these bars to see the dollar value.
Below that, the total discounts & voids in quantity and dollar value are listed. In order to dig deeper into any of these values you can click on the total and you'll be brought further into the days reports.
The overview of the top void reasons lists the reasons used and the dollar value associated with them.
Finally, the discount types used chart breaks down discount types as a percentage of total discounts. You can use your cursor to hover over each section to see the dollar value associated with each discount type.

Discount Times & Discount Types

The Discount Times graph shows the amount of discounts applied over each half-hour period. You can use the cursor to hover over the bars to see the dollar value associated with these. Below that, you'll see a breakdown of the discounts used each half hour across the day, in both dollar value and as a percentage of sales.
The Discount types chart shows the different discounting schemes used as a percentage of total discounts given. You can see the dollar values associated with these by hovering over any section with your cursor. Below that, you'll see all discounts listed with the discount and sale amount.

Voids & Void Reasons

The Voids graph shows the amount of voids processed over each half hour period. You can use the cursor to hover over the bars to see the dollar value associated with these. Below that, you'll see a breakdown of the voids and wastage processed through the tills every half hour, in both dollar value and as a percentage of sales.
The Void reasons chart shows the different reasons used (staff are prompted in the POS) as a percentage of total voids. You can see the dollar values associated with these by hovering over any section with your cursor. Below that, you'll see all reasons listed with the quantity and dollar value associated with the voids/wastage.
