- You need to be able to access the Point of Sale (POS) at your site to be able to restart the Loaded data sync.
- If you are not the owner of the site you may need to check with the owner or your point of sale reseller to ensure you are accessing the correct POS computer.
When you first get up & running on Loaded we will install a piece of software on your POS server This is the Loaded Data Sync. This runs in the background & replicates all information from your POS in real time and draws this through into your Loaded account.
If the POS computer that the Data Sync is on loses power, or internet, or has large database changes or upgrades made by your POS provider the sync may need to be manually restarted. Follow the steps below to do this.
On your server till/computer, open the tray on your taskbar & identify the Loaded Data Sync Icon
Right-click on the icon & select Restart Service
- Depending on how long the data sync has been inactive, it may take up to half an hour to start the live feed again, if you don't see your live data filtering through within the hour, contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org & we can investigate further.
